Why we exist

I've been grooming dogs professionally for eleven years. I've worked in high-volume salons, I've seen the inside of big-box pet stores, and I've watched hundreds of dogs come into a grooming room anxious and leave still anxious — because nothing about the environment was designed for them.

Salons work for the business, not the dog. Loud dryers. Other animals. Kennel time between steps. A different person every visit. It doesn't have to be that way.

The model we built instead

Rufflane is one groomer, one dog, one van at your driveway. A dog that sees the same professional on the same routine in the same familiar spot — their own neighborhood, often their own driveway — is a different animal by visit three. Calmer. Easier to work with. And owners stop dreading grooming day.

The recurring cadence isn't a convenience feature. It's what makes the relationship work. A dog groomed every five weeks by the same person develops trust with that person. That's what we're building, one route at a time.

Our commitment to pricing

Every groomer we work with is licensed. Pricing is posted. No breed-shock surcharges mid-appointment, no vague "conditioning treatment" add-ons at checkout. What you see when you book is what you pay.
